Founded in 2013, The Arena aspires to lead a movement of smart, conscious and empowered young Africans focused on maximising themselves and the communities they live in. We do this by creating events and digital platforms to inspire young people to make empowered decisions for themselves and the world they live in.

Our name, ‘The Arena’, is derived from a 1910 speech by Theodore Roosevelt that encourages a spirit of courage despite the risk of failure, rejection or ridicule. We stand on these words as we pursue our vision.

This blog is a platform for us to create content that isn’t currently represented in mainstream media. Our content focuses on arts & culture, politics, lifestyle and personal development.
